My First Baby Post

So Barb has asked me to post on the blog. Normally, I do all of my blogging on unplannedthought.com, but perhaps I'll dual post for these so I have them at both.

Anyhow, to the point, I've gotta say from a first time fathers perspective, this is an absolutely amazing experience, and quite a ride. I must say that the mothers mood and food cravings are supposed to be really out of wack. As for mood, I must say her temper might be little bit shorter, but more or less, she won't put up with crap, especially mine. I've said it in the past, though, and I'll continue to say, I'm probably in trouble as this pregnancy is over, because as it is now, if she's mad at me, it only lasts a few minutes and then the mood changes. I'm guessing it might not be quite like this afterwards. As for the crazy cravings, outside of getting into kicks for the same food repeatedly (for instance, she had Fettuccine Alfreda 4 days in a row last week), she hasn't yet tried pickles and ice cream, or Marty's very odd Peanut-butter and pickle sandwiches.

I have to say, it keeps you on your toes. Barb and I might be checking out things at the local furniture or hardware store and she'll suddenly stop or press on her stomach. Or she might suddenly start talking to her belly. Very interesting and entertaining to say the least. I must admit that I cannot wait to feel the baby kick, or move like she does. Maybe she might be over it, or at least tired of it, but I'm still waiting for my turn. We've spent some time with me pressing on her stomach, and her telling me that the hard spot my hand is on is where the baby is, but nothing yet in terms of me feeling the baby move. But that time will come with patience.

Well, I know I had more to think over, but I seem to have forgotten what I was thinking...perhaps because I should be in bed.

Anyhow, more to post as my mind turns.

2 Year Anniversary

So today is our 2 year anniversary!!! I can't believe it has been 2 years since I married my best friend. (Insert AWW moment here). It has been an amazing 2 years, we have so much to be thankful for and we are be blessed even more in the coming days. We would like to say thank you to everyone who shared in our day and those who have sent well wishes today.
